There you’ll find some of the most exotic concept and production vehicles of 2016. The top auto manufacturers always unveil major innovations in Geneva and this year 120 world and European premieres have been announced in the motor cars, special bodywork and converted cars sections alone. Arash AF10 – $492,000 – $1,686,210
A new version of this hybrid supercar with a carbon monocoque body, powered by a twin turbo V8 and three electric motors makes for one insanely powerful and expensive hypercar. It’s 1180 bhp electric motors 900 bhp petrol engine total 2080 bhp for 0-60mph in 2.8 seconds. Tear-drop cabin over a wing plane surface and fixed rear wing and moving front wing for when it’s needed. With the tight cabin, you could argue the AF10 has more spaceship DNA than car.
Bugatti Chiron – $2,500,000
This is the quintessential ultimate super sports car: ultra-modern, incredibly fast, agile and powerful with a stylistically demanding design and the highest possible levels of comfort. The world’s most powerful, fastest, most luxurious and most exclusive production super sports car is powered by 16 cylinder, 1500 bhp engine for a record-breaking 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds maxing out at 258mph.
Mercedes DMC G Class G63 G65 Zeus – $N/A
DMC refines the AMG Mercedes Benz G Class! It’s an all carbon-fiber, wide body package for the G65, G63 and G500, also offering 880 hp and 24″ Forged Aluminium wheels. DMC offers an aggressive styling alternative of the regular off-road.
Lamborghini Centenario – $1,850,000+
To mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Ferruccio Lamborghini, this model is offered in a seriously limited edition – 20 coupés and 20 convertibles, all of them already sold. It is propelled 0-60mph in just 2.8 seconds by a 6.5-litre V12 delivering 770 bhp.
Maserati Levante – $72,000
It has been a closely guarded secret for a long time and the suspense has been maintained around this imposing Italian SUV which is coming to taunt the likes of the BMW X5, Porsche Cayenne and Range Rover Sport. Two V6 engines, gas and diesel (producing up to 400 bhp), and lavish equipment levels have been announced.
Opel GT Concept – $N/A
The latest in a line of sports car studies from Opel. A pared down sports coupé, with rear-wheel drive, powered by a turbocharged three-cylinder engine producing 145 bhp. The distinctive red elements showcase Opel’s pioneering spirit. Red front tires on roller skate rims. A red signature line that splits the vehicle body horizontally and proportions it.
QUANT FE – $N/A
A QUANT electric concept vehicle, this FE, equipped with permanent all-wheel drive and an automatic two-speed transmission, has a peak output of 1,090 bhp. At the very heart of the QUANT FE is the nanoFlowcell® battery. It achieves ranges of up to 800 km. It is currently still at the development stage, but the results achieved to-date are incredibly promising.
Rimac Concept_One – $980,000
The production version of the Croatian-made Concept_One has arrived! Four independent electric motors, the revolutionary Rimac all-wheel torque vectoring system and an array of new technologies are woven together to create a whole new driving experience. 1088bph deliver a blistering 0-62mph in 2.6 seconds with a top speed of 221mph. The world’s fastest electric car is our favourite production debut of the Geneva Motor Show 2016.
Techrules GT96 – $N/A
Techrules is a new China-based auto company that is showcasing an innovative range extender electric vehicle technology. Equipped with ‘Turbine-Recharging Electric Vehicle’ (TREV) technology, next generation EVs will enjoy a range of 2,000km from just 80 litres of bio-gas. The company states that the car produces an impressive 1,030 bhp and can sprint from 0-62 mph from a standstill in about 2.5 seconds. Its top speed is restricted to 217 mph.
Zenvo TSR – $N/A
Zenvo, the only Danish supercar manufacturer presents TSR, a Track Day Version of TS1, together with its new flagship. Compared to TS1, TSR is a stripped down light weight version of TS1 featuring aerodynamic alterations to improve downforce on the race track. It features enhanced down force and enhanced engine technology, although its turbocharged and supercharged 6.8-litre V8 generates the same 1,104 hp.
