Paris, January 17, 2013 – Raf Simons gets introspective for Fall/Winter 2o13 questioning what is men’s fashion and were is it headed. We were wondering the same thing. From man-skirts and ruffles to man-lace, we’ve truly seen it all this season. Simons plays with volume and contrast for FW13. He mixes loose with fitted pieces and tries to establish a new (palatable) way of looking at the masculine silhouette. The styling is also mildly aggressive – less ‘matched’ and moving towards a controlled kind of madness. Highlights of the collection include outerwear, trousers, knits and some amazing must-have cartoon printed knits. We’ll pass on the disco dress shirts.
