Toronto, October 10, 2012 – Following another successful collection showing in Paris, Canadian based international luxury label PAVONI will be back in Toronto to present their fantasy-inspired Spring/Summer 2013 collection titled “Le Chateau de Versailles” at World MasterCard Fashion Week. The founders of the label, Gianni Falcone & Mike Derderian, always strive to bring a modern twist on old world elegance to their customers. The SS13 collection is all about bringing the audience into their whimsical world, where royal gowns and chic dresses parade in a land of lush gardens, dancing, moonlights and mirrors. Above is a first look via one of the sketches from the SS13 collection.

This last season has presented its own fairy tale for the label – with Holt Renfrew, one of North America’s leading luxury retailers, picking up the duo’s Fall/Winter 2012 runway collection.

“It is great to have our most trusted retailer in Canada carrying our line,” says PAVONI’s Creative Director Mike Derderian. “We can now offer our designs in the Canadian market alongside other luxury retailers like Harvey Nichols and Neiman Marcus in Asia, Europe and the US.”

The label was also featured on the season finale of Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model when the final two contestants graced the finale runway in FW12 PAVONI mermaid gowns. Models and celebrities alike have fallen under the spell of PAVONI with Celine Dion, Katy Perry, Shakira, Lindsay Lohan, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Lydia Hearst, among many others, sporting the label for red carpets events, film premieres, performances and charity galas.

The PAVONI SS13 runway show will be taking place on October 22nd at 9pm. Guests can expect a magical journey to “Le Chateau de Versailles” where gorgeous gowns will bring them to a place where sultry lace, jewel encrusted silk, glistening gold and unbridled romance defined an era.

World Mastercard Fashion Week (WMCFW) runs from October 22nd-26th and takes place in David Pecault Square.
