Milan, September 19, 2012 - Prada Spring/Summer 2013 can be summed up as parade of underfed, depressed Japanese female assassins or miserable geishas with cool accessories. That is a considerable upgrade from the horrific menswear (and womenswear) shown earlier this year during the Men’s Prada SS13. The colours, the prints, the embellishments – all gone, save for the lonely flower. Reinterpreted satin Japanese kimonos are sure to satisfy the Daphne Guinnesses out there, but the everyday woman? The strength in this collection once again is in the accessories and the outerwear. Lush fur overcoats and stoles with oversized flowers will make it onto many a must-have list as will those funky ninja shoes. Harajuku girls rejoice!
