Toronto, July 24, 2012 – Federico Fellini made famous La Dolce Vita when he debuted his sumptuous film of the same name in 1960. His goal was to showcase ‘the sweetness of life’ and beautifully illustrate Rome’s delectable offerings – the food, the architecture and most of all, the effortless style.
Italy’s blue ribbon lager Peroni Nastro Azzurro paid tribute to La Dolce Vita hosting a rooftop party at Toronto’s TIFF Bell Lightbox. Peroni introduced its crisp refreshing draught lager to Canada at the Malaparte, while attendees enjoyed an intimate evening of Aperitivo Italiano, Oliver & Bonacini antipasti, and the sweet, at times melancholic, sounds (them to Godfather anyone?) of Rome’s 1960s maestros. Great way to spend a beautiful summer evening in the city.
