Milan, June 24, 2012 – Talk about coming out of left field. Salvatore Ferragamo’s Creative Director, Massimiliano Giornetti shocked Milan with a brilliant display of colour in menswear for Spring/Summer 2013. The fashion house that started as a footwear company also surprised fashionistas the world over by showing sneakers in place of fancy dress shoes. Citing a mix of Los Angeles sport and pop culture, we haven’t seen a collection so convincingly colour blocked since Jil Sander SS11.
Yes, it’s a departure, but how can you saw no to this? From Curaçao blues to spearmint green and Limoncello yellow, everything just works. One of the best collections to come out of Milan for SS13. Must get a pair of those sneakers. One in every colour please.

OK this is fab!!! Can’t wait till Spring 2013!!!
