London, June 16, 2012 – West Coast skater boys played youthful muse to Topman Design for the brand’s Spring/Summer 2013 Collection. One of the eagerly anticipated and more commercial collections coming out of London’s new three-day men’s week(end), Topman anchors its new looks in casual grey two-piece suit varieties swapping out the trousers for pleated shorts. And why not?
While psychedelic renditions of Hawaiian prints make us cringe, tight floral print interpretations reminiscent of some coveted SS12 collections work. Perforated jackets in pops of vivid colour – a tad late to the party, but welcomed guests that are a clear highlight from their latest offering. In addition to the versatile relaxed suiting, knits and caps will work well with everyone from their teens onwards. Mind you, if you’re over 20, I’d suggest ditching the skateboard.
