London, June 13, 2012 – His Royal Highness, Charles, The Prince of Wales graced us Canadians with his presence only a few weeks ago, is ready to kick-off London’s Men’s Collections (June 15-17) with a private party tomorrow night.
From his dashing trademark double-breasted bespoke Savile Row suits to his Scottish kilts and Ralph Lauren campaign worthy polo style, it’s hard to deny the heir apparent his rightful place on Britain’s throne of style. He’s also quite the dancer (videos here and here).
Not just another stylish royal bloke, the prince is also well known for his humanitarian and social concerns. He sponsors The Prince’s Charities and is patron of many other charitable and arts organizations. For many years, the Prince has championed organic farming and sought to raise world awareness of the dangers facing the natural environment, such as climate change. He has been outspoken concerning the role of architecture in society and the conservation of historic buildings, and produced a book on the subject called A Vision of Britain (1989). He has also promoted herbal and other alternative medical treatment.
