Toronto, May 17, 2012 – Vince Camuto was in town earlier this month to hold a small presentation of his Fall/Winter 2012 Collection in downtown Toronto’s Arcadian Loft. Next season’s collection has something for everyone as it is broken down into three unique looks: Artisan, Rough & Refined and Ladylike Sophistication.
Rough & Refined looks include polished pairings, tailored trousers, clean lines, color-blocking, strong shoulders, this trend brings a menswear edge to the traditional Vince Camuto woman’s wardrobe. Core colors include cerulean blue, black, white and hunter green with houndstooth prints and color-blocking prevailing. Leather trims & outerwear , studded embellishments and zipper detailing create an edge. Gold cuffs, stud earrings, metallic belts, moto boots with gold hardware, croco/pony booties and quilted leather knee-high boots are definite highlights.
Ladylike Sophistication is juxtaposed against Rough & Refined paying homage to the unequivocally polished, bold Vince Camuto woman. Rich paisley prints, luxe fabrics and textures such as Mongolian fur and velvet, lame, lacquer metallic lace and jewel tones and embellished detailing are indicative of the feminine pieces. Ladylike luxe is complete with Rabbit Fur Mufflers in various colors and the silver metallic croco single sole pump, silver metallic croco/suede bootie or extra regal gold-heeled black pumps and booties.
Lastly, the Artisan pieces are an art-inspired muse collection, infused with reminiscence of 1960’s mod and Navaho colors, prints and knits. Core colors include yellow, gold, tangerine, green, deep brown. Prints include Peruvian art, snakeskin, feathered and geometric patchwork. The Artisan woman is eclectic, pairing bold colors and prints, with rich fabrics with leather trims and embellishments. Brown croco booties and pumps, knee-high riding boots, caramel hobos and square-shaped pony print clutches and shoulder bags are some of the highlights of the collection.
Vince Camuto is available at major department stores, boutiques and Vince Camuto stores.
