World MasterCard Fashion Week – Toronto Fall/Winter 2012 Schedule

Toronto, February 22, 2012 – On February 13th, the Fashion Design Council of Canada (FDCC) announced that World MasterCard Fashion Week in Toronto will be held from Monday, March 12 to Friday, March 16. With its new corporate partner injecting fresh energy into the week, the vibrant event will return to the city centre in a single-tented environment at David Pecaut Square to show Fall/Winter 2012 Collections. The location is in the heart of the downtown entertainment district. This means plenty of gridlock to navigate through and fighting it out for those few $20+ parking spots. If you’re going to the shows, make sure you take public transit or one of Toronto’s famous overpriced taxis. The FDCC expects more than 30,000 industry professionals to be in attendance and have increased consumer ticket allowance so should be a busy week.
